Continuing Professional Development
Thursday 16th June 2022 9am – 3pm
Training day and visits will be at Kay Rowe Nursery School, Osborne Road, Forest, Gate E7 0PH
Visits will be offered to Ronald Openshaw Nursery School, Henniker Rd, London E15 1JP.
“What are you doing?” The most asked question by children under 5 and the onethat all the adults want to ask!
You are invited to attend a day of training led by Louise in which she will unpack what it means to dance, to move, to connect with children in the early years. Louise will share insight into her working practice using dance and creative movement techniques drawing on intensive interaction, developmental movement, listening touch and improvisation.
Come and find out how dance and movement supports children’s sense of safety, communication, relationships, individuality, learning and development.
As a unique opportunity as a participant of this training, you are invited to observe Louise working with children at either Kay Rowe or Ronald Openshaw Nursery
schools prior to the 16th June. Places are limited and must be booked in advance when you book the training.
Louise has developed an extensive dance and movement practice working alongside young babies to ninety-plus year olds. She has worked with young children
in children’s centres, nurseries, schools, hospices and hospitals and presented her work at national early year’s conferences and symposiums nationally for local
authorities, dance, music and arts organisations.
