We are so excited to have received the IQM flagship school award for the third year running. IQM is the inclusion quality mark and we are very proud of our commitment to being fully inclusive. The Flagship school award enables us to share our practice with others.In spring 2023 we invited 18 practitioners from other schools to visit Kay Rowe for the day and share and observe the schools to share the inclusive work we do with our Forest school and other outdoor learning
The IQM assessor quoted a parent of a child with additional needs who she interviewed as describing “The progress he has made in the 2 years as exceptional and much more than she would have believed possible.
She puts it down to the dedication of the staff who make sure his needs are met and that his communication skills are constantly addressed ” The parent continued by saying ‘Communication between staff and parents is excellent with all parents accessing an online app which is constantly updated with photos and comments. There is a real sense of working together’.
